About Forklift Must-Gather
Forklift is the upstream project behind Red Hat Migration Toolkit for Virtualization (MTV), part of the Konveyor community. It migrates virtual machines at scale to Kubernetes KubeVirt/OpenShift Virtualization from source providers such as VMware vSphere, oVirt, OpenStack, and OVA.
This image is Forklift's diagnostics collector, designed to run under
oc adm must-gather. It
discovers Forklift installations on the cluster, collects the Forklift and KubeVirt custom resources and pod logs (plus
optional Prometheus metrics in targeted mode), and packs everything into a single support archive that the must-gather
flow copies off the cluster. The collection scripts are installed from source alongside an oc client built from
source.
